  • At the conclusion of this conference the participants will be able to:

    • discuss the role social determinants play in inequity and how community education can help bridge the gap
    • describe the responses to COVID-19 and the role it plays in the treatment of other infectious diseases such as TB, HIV, and malaria
    • discuss the disproportionate impact of planetary change on marginalized communities.
    • discuss the benefits of community education and the importance of establishing partnerships
    • discuss different interventions and goals for maternal and child health
    • discuss various methods of controlling and treating non-communicable diseases
    • discuss the roles education, research, policy, and programming play in addressing human rights and political challenges in relation to global health
