•    Describe proposed criteria for identifying patients with severe and enduring eating disorders (SE-ED)•    Describe the worldwide prevalence of criminalization of same-sex behavior
•    Discuss the effect of persecution on the mental health of the cohort defined in this presentation
•    Discuss some intersectional  factors that affect impact on the mental health of those persecuted in their home countries
