Learning Objectives:

1. Describe technical considerations of ultrasound, including aspects such as image acquisition and artifacts.
2. Review about the diagnostic utility of ultrasound in diagnosis of different pathologies of different organs in the genitourinary tract (notably kidney, bladder, and prostate/SVs). 
3. Discuss relevant literature to the topic of urologic ultrasound to help inform urologists to make decisions based in evidence-based medicine  . 
4. Discussion of some (of the many) recent advancements in technologies related to ultrasound within urology and their future role in clinical practice
