My learning objectives are:

  • Characterize the functional role distribution of C5aR1 and C5aR2 during C5a-ALI and streptococcal pneumonia
  • Identify the redundancies and/or synergism of C5aRs
  • Identify how to share data generated by single cell proteotranscriptomics on alveolar myeloid cells during pneumococcal pneumonia
  • Describe results supporting the hypothesis that distinct subsets of lung myeloid cells show differences in complement receptors expression and complement-dependent effects
