Description of the session: The patient with massive hematemesis can be a challenging presentation in the ED.   Placing a Blakemore tube can help tamponade the esophageal and gastric bleeds.  However, the procedure can be finicky and time intensive.  

Objectives:  

  1. Learn the key steps of placing a Blakemore tube 
  2. Practice the key steps of placing a Blakemore tube
