Welcome to the Rural Health Leadership Institute!

We are delighted to have you join us as we work together to enhance the health and well-being of rural communities. The Rural Health Leadership Institute (RHLI) is dedicated to equipping primary care, public health, and other sector professionals with the skills and knowledge needed to broaden the scope and impact of public health initiatives.

Over the next three months, you will be engaged in this rural health leadership course for emerging leaders in public health and primary care across New England. We want to help you to begin to develop critical leadership knowledge and skills, including the ability to engage in collaboration with partners, establish shared values and trust, recognize and cultivate potential among team members, identify and utilize data to inform planning and decision-making, and to address disparities and increase health equity.

This course has three Units and for each, you will navigate through:

  • readings
  • expert videos
  • discussion boards
  • self-assessments, and reflections.

There will be one or two webinars for each Unit where you will have the opportunity to engage in live activities and discussions with subject matter experts and each other.
