Educational Needs Addressed

In this meeting, the Perinatal-Neonatal Quality Improvement Network of Massachusetts (PNQIN) will discuss the new advances in maternal and newborn health. The program will include information about different care models for interdisciplinary teams and how to apply Quality Improvement to care for families impacted by opiod use disorder (OUD) with the overall goal of more effectively communicating and supporting family care.

Target Audience

Primary care physicians, family medicine physicians, OB/GYN physicians, pediatricians, psychiatrists, psychologists, physician assistants, nurses and nurse practitioners.

Learning Objectives

Participants at the conclusion of this webinar will be able to:

  1. Coordinate interdisciplinary teams and apply quality improvement to care for families impacted by perinatal opioid use.
  2. Understand different models for care for families impacted by perinatal opioid use.
  3. Apply learnings to improve family centered care for families impacted by perinatal opioid use.
