A PI-NCPD, PI-CME and Portfolio project in primary care at Boston Medical Center to improve shingles vaccination for patients 50 and older or those taking immunosupressing agents provided by Boston University Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine, CCE.

Target Audience
Physicians, PAs, Nurses and others involved in the care of patients 50 and older or those taking immunosupressing agents.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, learners should be able to:
- Apply ACIP recommendations and EHR data insights to accurately identify adults eligible for shingles vaccination, including those at highest risk from immunosuppressive conditions or medications
- Implement EHR-based identification and guideline-supported strategies to raise shingles vaccination rates in eligible adults
- Apply patient-centered communication approaches that incorporate patient data insights and leverage care team coordination to increase shingles vaccination rates and series completion
