Mississippi CHAMPS 2026 Conference: Together for Better Births - October 22, 2026

Since 2014, Mississippi Communities and Hospitals Advancing Maternity Practices (MS CHAMPS) has partnered with hospitals across the state to improve maternal and child health by advancing breastfeeding support and implementing the Ten Steps to Successful Breastfeeding. In 2025, MS CHAMPS launched a new initiative to develop a sustainable, hospital-based model that integrates doulas into maternity care teams across Mississippi.

The Mississippi CHAMPS 2026 Conference: Together for Better Births brings together healthcare professionals, hospital leaders, doulas, and community advocates to share strategies, strengthen partnerships, and accelerate efforts to improve birth outcomes across the state. Join us as we celebrate progress, learn from one another, and help shape the future of maternity care in Mississippi.

This conference is generously funded by a grant from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation.
