
Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy Guidelines of Care
Overview
This course, led by concussion and Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE) expert Dr. Robert Cantu, MD, provides an overview of CTE, covering its pathophysiology, clinical presentation, diagnostic challenges, and management strategies. Participants will also gain insight into the latest research on CTE and explore the potential future role of the Traumatic Encephalopathy Syndrome (TES) criteria in evaluating probable cases during life.

Learning Objectives
At the end of this activity, the learner or the healthcare team should be able to:
- Identify CTE signs and symptoms.
- Describe components of the TES Criteria.
- Describe the difference between concussion, PCS, and CTE.
- Identify the best practice guidelines for pharmaceutical intervention
- Identify other healthcare providers who suspected CTE patients should be referred to for comprehensive care.
