The 13th Annual Scary Cases Conference offers another exciting and unique learning experience. A case-based approach and participation of experts in risk management will help participants learn how to avoid unfavorable clinical outcomes.

Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Develop skill at detecting those otolaryngic conditions that can easily be missed in a routine exam
- Identify potential pitfalls inherent to the practice of otolaryngology that may lead to adverse outcomes or put patients at excessive risk
- Understand legal principles of medical malpractice and learn ways to minimize risk of malpractice in the everyday practice of otolaryngology
