Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Demonstrate an understanding of guidelines for safe prescribing of opioids
- Assess a patient for undiagnosed substance use disorder and/or unmanaged chronic pain
- Develop and implement a treatment plan for chronic pain, and engaging the patient in accepting the plan
