Learners will be able to:

  1. Describe the epidemiology and major risk factors for postpartum psychosis (PPP)
  2. Recognize early warning signs and the range of clinical presentations
  3. Differentiate PPP from other psychiatric and medical conditions
  4. Evaluate suicide and infanticide risk 
  5. Identify indications for urgent psychiatric evaluation and hospitalization
  6. Navigate systems of care for patients with suspected PPP
