This one-hour course is intended to provide foundational knowledge of Brief Assessment and intervention for substance use in integrated behavioral health settings. Topics include assessments of SUD, interventions and co-occurring disorders

Target Audience

Integrated Behavioral Health Clinicians: Social Workers, Mental Health Counselors, and Psychologists

Learning Objectives

As a result of this activity, participants will be able to: 

- Identify important historical figures in the development of hypnosis and psychological and medical intervention 

- Define concepts in the design of hypnosis therapy intervention 

- Identify the application and benefits of hypnotherapy as an intervention for psychological and medical diagnosis, with specific IBH
