Through the four different presentations in this series, learners will be able to:
1. Describe unhealthy alcohol use, risks of prenatal alcohol exposure (PAE) and fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASDs)
2. Screen for unhealthy alcohol use and perform a brief negotiated interview (BNI)
3. Identify challenges and solutions to implement alcohol screening, BNI and patient education about PAE risks and FASDs
4. Summarize a range of treatment options for Alcohol Use Disorder
5. Explain how to counsel and work with different patients of a range of ages about their alcohol use
6. Describe alcohol use amongst adolescents and young adults
