Need for training that provides ED clinicians with the knowledge to provide trauma informed best practice care for adult, adolescent and pediatric patients following acute sexual assault.

- Provide current best practice care to patients following an acute sexual assault.
- Describe specific techniques for examination of external genitalia in a sexual assault patient as well as best practice documentation for medical clinician role, medications recommended per SANE protocol and importance of evidence collection based on patient account of assault.
