SPEAK UP 3-Part Series - Module 1: Why Everyone Must SPEAK UP: Trends and Racial Disparities in Maternal Mortality and Morbidity

This 30 minute web-based program, provides interactive education designed for healthcare workers who care for people who are or may become pregnant.

 

At the completion of the training, the learner will:

1. Describe trends in the rate of maternal mortality and severe morbidity

2. Identify the leading causes of pregnancy-related mortality in the prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum phases

3. Describe racial disparities in maternal mortality
