The Leading Change Collaborative is an experiential quality improvement training course provided by the QI Hub.
Learning Block Content:
- Session 1: Model for Improvement, Aim Statements, and Establishing a Family of Measures
- Faculty: Kevin Horbowicz, PharmD, BCPS and Will Vincent, PharmD, BCCCP
- Synopsis: Introduction to the Model for Improvement; how to construct an aim statement; operationally defining measures.
- Session 2: Stakeholder Identification and Analysis
- Faculty: Emily Jansen, MPH
- Synopsis: Identify stakeholders impacted by your change; assess desired involvement, interest, and influence over the change. Develop an engagement strategy that fits a stakeholder group.
- Session 3: Psychology of Change
- Faculty: David Yuh, MD
- Synopsis: Technical versus adaptive challenges; theories of change management; IHI Psychology of Change principles of co-design and co-production and distributive leadership.
