- Understand key components of the CDC Guidelines for Prescribing Opioids for Pain
- Improve communications with patients about benefits and risks of pain treatment as well as the safety and efficacy of pain treatment
- Understand the implications of the guidelines on treatment of patients with chronic pain and opioid use disorder
