Target Audience

Primary care physicians, internists, family practice physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and physician assistants

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
  • Describe common scenarios that lead to abnormal EKG-QTc in people being treated with methadone.
  • Outline risks of abnormal QTc against risks of opiate use disorder worsening.
  • Describe a problem-solving strategy for managing abnormal EKGs in patients on methadone.
