Primary care physicians, internists, family practice physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and physician assistants

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
  • Identify potential approaches to pain management for patients with Chronic Pain (CP) and Opioid Use Disorder (OUD)
  • Balance the risks and benefits of prescribing opioids to patients with these co-morbid conditions
  • Describe risk mitigation strategies for typical clinical situations with patients with both CP and OUD
