To optimally care for their patients with breast cancer, oncologists need information on the latest research findings and best practices for managing the disease. In particular, they need to know about recent advances in localized and systemic therapy, especially immunotherapy and targeted therapy, and they need updates regarding treatment for specific subtypes of breast cancer, including HER2-positive, triple-negative, and hormone receptor-positive breast cancer. They also need to learn about emerging options for using precision medicine in the care of patients with breast cancer
