The 12th Annual Scary Cases Conference offers another exciting and unique learning experience. A case-based approach and participation of experts in risk management will help participants learn how to avoid unfavorable clinical outcomes.

At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Develop skill at detecting those otolaryngic conditions that can easily be missed in a routine exam
- Identify potential pitfalls inherent to the practice of otolaryngology that may lead to adverse outcomes or put patients at excessive risk
- Understand legal principles of medical malpractice and learn ways to minimize risk of malpractice in the everyday practice of otolaryngology
