Managing your CSHS Budget

What systems do school nurse managers use to ensure CSHS funds are utilized appropriately? 

This course is designed for nurse leaders in districts that have received funding through the CSHS grant. This course is designed to build confidence and competence in managing the CSHS budget. Topics covered include understanding your district’s CSHS grant scope, allowable expenses, working with your business office to create solid tracking systems, amending and reconciling your grant expenses, and meeting grant timelines and requirements.

Prerequisite: For learners who have completed the self-paced CSHS Grant Orientation training.

  2. Create budget management systems to ensure appropriate utilization of CSHS funds
