Clinical Update 2025: Addressing Diabetes Technology Challenges in Schools
There are many new technologies to manage diabetes! What are the best resources I can use?
The 2025 November Clinical Update is designed to enhance school nurses’ skills and knowledge in the care of students with diabetes. Learners will hear from diabetes providers and nurse educators about current and future diabetes management technologies and medications. We will discuss the role of the school nurse in managing these technologies, addressing access barriers, and best practices for delivering high-quality and equitable care for students with diabetes.
School health professionals who complete this course will be better prepared to care for students with diabetes, collaborate with providers and caregivers, and address inequities to ensure all students receive quality diabetes care and services that meet their needs.
